you would be surprised what you can get on ebay for laptops .head on over to ebay and check for similar laptops with your spec.just do a little research on you own.

Ur dell is probably not over 500 dollars
so im guessing around 300...not totally sure
im not sure about that 3 GB hard drive ( it sounds really good )
but the rest seem to be ok

Try selling it on Ebay, someone there will appreciate it as it is. A lot of people are looking for cheap laptops so they can upgrade it. I am going to sell my Compaq on Ebay within the next 2 weeks.

I agree, I would ask for $75 and then chances are you will be offered less. The only way you will get that much or more is if the buyer does not know anything about computers.

You could sell it or you could donate it to a school or a charity, something like that, it's what I would do. You'd be lucky to get $75 for it and I would be very surprised if you get much more than that.
