I'm not necessarily interested in a PDA with a phone (yet).

So you want a phone or no phone attached?

Either way, phone look for Palm Treo, without it but having Bluetooth would be a Palm Tungsten T3, but if they offer too much capability just pick a lesser machine running Palm OS; the PIM feature in Pocket PC is not as refined as Palm's..

Stay away from Palm Z22, it is as it is now and will be as is now; meaning not scalable expensive door stop.

Most Palm machines on the market are discontinued models, I don't see any benefit current Life Drive models offer.

you may check out getting the HP iPAQ h6315. It has each thing you want, wireless, Bluetooth, and it purely happens to be a quad band GSM telephone. This telephone is unlocked, and could paintings with Cingular on the spot. I have been given the telephone from Tigerdirect for $249.ninety 9, that's a damn sturdy cost.

Are you looking for a Smart phone or a WM5 PPC.

I recommend either the Samsung i730 on Verizon ~$199

or the Motorola Q for ~$99

it depends on which carrier you want to go to .. all have a small selection so choose step one then select your phone/pda. If you are not ready to choose when you are ready whatever we select may be out dated..
