Listen, I am in Las Vegas until the 28th (Thursday) and I do not have a lot of of money left. I am working with about $350 dollars and I'm hoping someone can tell me some cool, fun, but inexpensive places to go???....

Thanks for helping!

$350 until Thursday, does this include meals too? I hope not.

You can enjoy several things in Vegas that are free or low cost.

check www.vegas.com and look at the section for attractions, then the free stuff like the Fountains at the Bellagio as well as the Botanical Gardens, see the Lions at the MGM, you get the drift.

If you want to see a few things and can spend the money go the shark reef at Mandalay bay, the Eiffel tower at the Paris, if you want there is the roller coaster at the NY NY many of these range from $10-$15. so you can have plenty to do and see without gambling.

If you plan on partying several night clubs let women in with no cover charge and well the drinks may or may not cost you depending if anyone else is buying them for you. Don't run a tab you will be out of money in one night.

Hope this helps you
Have fun
Glenn

umm first of all dont gamble it off stay away from the slots and card games they will eat your money. if you must gamble play the penny or nickel slots you can still play the machines while winning a little bit and making your money go a long way. also there are plenty of things that are free if you want to sit in a two hour seminar on why you should buy a timeshare. you can also get into the clubs for free by asking people on the street where you can get vip passes for them. these guys normally hang out a couple of feet in front of the clubs handing out passes. you just have to keep your eyes open. Also check out the free shows such as the pirate show at TI it is awesome.

Ok, make sure you have all your meals at Terrible Herbst's Buffet. Do some gaming at the penny slots at Riviera. Also, be sure to grab free coupons that they hand out for the garbage shows. Beyond that, you could always laugh at the drunken idiots on the Boulevard, always free of charge. Try to locate the Neon Sign Graveyard, right off Las Vegas Boulevard north of downtown. It may not be pretty, but hey, that's what the real LV is all about.

North Las Vegas has lots of cheap hotels in the poorer part of town. Take a bus - look around. Also, look in the newspaper for a hotel room or a room to rent for the week. Hopefully, you can find one from $110, but maybe it will cost $150-185. Play the nickle slots!!!!!!

I would head downtown. Golden Gate .99 cent shrimp cocktails and the penny and nickle slots at Gold Spike.

If you don't like downtown, head off-strip to a Stations casino and play there. Also, there's plenty of fast food places with dollar menus around: McDonalds, Jack In The Box, etc.

For bargains, Anthony Curtis is KING of Vegas. Check out his website here...

If you have a car, get out of town! The Red Rock Canyon, Hoover Dam, Valley of Fire, Mt. Charleston, Pahrump, Death Valley. ALL of this and MORE are waiting for you FREE, with the exception of gas for the car. If you want a REAL adventure, Head out to Rachel! It's all about UFO's. A real little Oasis in the middle of a desert and Area 51. Takes about 3 hours one way, but will keep you out of the casinos!

If you haven't been to and toured the Hoover Dam, it is worth the trip.
