It is clearly Russia, despite the inability of one respondent to even sort out latitude from longitude. (You probably know them better than that person, which gives you a chance to see how stupid you might seem if you neglect learning these basic things while in school!)

Check a map for China, Peru, Chile ....
.... but USA may win if you go from Hawaii to Alaska
(the key word is COUNTRY, Russia, as a country, is smaller than the federation)
