When it comes to sheer potential Ronaldo probably have more of that then any other young player in the world, Messi,Rooney,Kaka, etc and this season he has made the leap in connecting flash with result. Now his fancy footwork actually leads to a important pass or high percentage shot on goal. Nobody I think in the history of footballing had better footwork

I think Ronaldo is a very talented player and at the moment is playing better than Rooney. You have to bear in mind that since his broken foot Rooney has not played a great deal of football. In addition they are totally different players. Ronaldo relies on tricky footwork whereas Rooney tends to rely on power and strength. I think they are both great assets for Man Utd. One weakness Ronaldo has is that he occasionally loses the ball in dangerous positions by being too flash instead of doing the simply thing. As to having the best footwork ever in football I have to disagree. There was a certain George Best. Ronaldo is not and never will be as good in any aspect ot the game.

I don't understand how you think he can solely be Manchester Uniteds pathway to glory. He's better than Rooney yes, but he wouldn't be able to get the team to the top without people like Rooney, Giggs, Park and Solskjaer being there for him. He's definately not better than Kaka. How dare you say that. He's fantastic. I'm quite sure he's a white Pele. He's without doubt undisputedly the best young talent in the world of football.

Cristiano surely has good skills
But he's the most selfish player 2day only to be equalled by samuel Eto
Many a time he has tried for personal glory and missed chances , whereas on other hand Rooney keeps passing & tossing ball over defenders to Saha ..
Why else would a playe like Saha be scoring too much goals

Ronaldo is a very talented player but not as good as Thierry Henry. You can't say nobody in history of Football had better footwork. You can only say no young player in the history of football had better footwork.

Yes, I agree with you with one thing, Cristiano Ronaldo is a very talented player that preceeds a very famous country in the world, but when it comes to who's better him or his fellow Rooney, I'll give it to Cristiano.

Yeah I agree.Rooney is way over-rated.I know he isn't match fit at the moment but it doesn't mean that he has to be virtually invisible!Ronaldo was great in the game against reading!
