The same as people of the same social level do all around the world, they are no different from europeans, americans etc etc

It depends on what part of Africa you are referring to.

In the northern regions of the African continent, I would guess a gold-plated Cadillac (Egypt and Morocco are African countries). South Africa is a middle-class country, so I would imagine anything else a middle-class person would want.

In the poorer tribal regions, I'm sure they would like to have access to good medical care, clean running water, and freedom from political upheaval. Unfortunately, these would be luxuries.

some of the answers are very rude and stereotypical well let me tel u somethin i am an african in america i lived in africa for eleven years and we have pretty much the same things you have here the same things that are luxurious to you are luxury to us not even all things, the only other thing is probably cable tv ad i was fortunate to have that not all africans are african booty scratchers with flies in the corners of their mouths and ridden by aids so do me a favor STOP WATCHING THE DISCOVERY CHANNEL

Proper healthy food and good drinking water. Sad that the most simple of things are what they hold in the highest of esteem. And most people in western nations take so much for granted and waste so much.

I had a pen pal once from Africa and when I asked him what he would like me to send him, he said anything about Elvis Presley. He also said that he would have to pay to pick it up and that would create a hardship for him
