I like to argue. People need to have their perceptions challenged. Arguing helps people come to clear conclusions about their own beleifs, it helps things get done, it helps people take on bullies, the ignorant, the oppresssive: in short, arguments (by which I mean debate) WORK.

It depends on the person who will be on the other end of the argument.

Sometimes, I'll go out of my way to avoid it because I know that the other person just isn't open to 'argument.'

I know, on the other hand, those who have the personality who can and will argue with anyone, without any friction arising. I envy that ability or quality.

I wouldn't say i like to argue but if someone wants to argue with what i have to say then i will have to make my point. I wouldnt go out of my way to avoid an argument but i wouldnt purposely start one, but i wouldnt just sit there and let someone shout their mouth off and for me to take it

I try to remember that bit about" choosing your battles." So I let a lot of small stuff pass in one ear and out the other. Sometimes I just make an I statement, then walk away. If the situation deals with a child, or a major financial purchase, I will not usually back down.

I avoid arguing because it gets my heart pumping to fast like I am going to pass out or something, so instead, I go out of my way to reason with the person to the best of my ability.

I save my breath, Everybody has their on opinion. Plus, some people are just foolish, they refuse to em better themselves. I skip a lot of question on Yahoo, because they are just foolish. If it is an argument where the person has a valid point, sure but not to the point of trying to convince someone, some people refuse to see things but only one way.

I find an argument in anything. It's quite annoying really but once I start, I can't stop myself even though I'm usually thinking oh no, here we go again. I never win it and promise myself I'll keep my mouth shut next time, but being female, it's not possible!

No dont like arguing my partner whould probally say I do. If I know im right then I will argue the point (more heated discussion) but if I'm wrong then I will back down gracefully.

Depends what you mean by argument. I like having heated discussions and debates with people, but I don't like having arguments. I see an argument and personal and nasty - but can be beneficial.

I usually try not to annoy and purposely do not answer some questions because my answer would be contentious, but, sometimes you just have to say what you think eh ?

Or...sometimes a question might be so bizarre that my `sense of humour` takes over.

Freedom of speech is a rare thing these days.
