I'm not quite sure how long you have to wait after a legal separation to get a divorce because I didn't believe that there was a time limit to it. A divorce is finalized usually in around 3 months and that's if no one objects to the stipulations in the divorce and if there was property that needed to be divided. Usually it takes at the minimum of at least 3 trips to court, if you have a good lawyer it would only take 1 to 2 and he'll do the rest.

All depends on how backed up the divorce court dockets are, til you get a court date. Usually 30 days after the judge gives his decision are divorces recorded as public info and final

you like in Bali or Cali,or is this California?, if so, that the the only answer you need. I'm from Calif. too and I'm stuck in Illliinoiiiis, and that's bad. you don't even need this info,do anything live the Cali life and don 't even turn around to ask these questions, and this stuff will be history or they will send you info for guilt trips, loose your self into the scenery for awhile til thing cool off and have fun

You don't have to wait file soon as you walk out that door, how long it takes goes by the state you reside in. Best Luck
