I just got this card 9/19 and all WAS fine, a/c perfect , tranny awesome and all the sudden i was driving home and the RPMs started acting up and would not accelerate. Then once I turned the car off and tried to restart the car just stalled and died.. ... i was told it MAY be the fuel pump.. does anyone have any ideas on what this could be? is it a censor or fuse? I dont have much money and the part is $200+ (fuel pump) I NEED SOME HELP PLEASE!!!!

Its not that its not starting, IT DOES start... but then shortley after stalls.. like i started it up today and i sat in park about 5 mins and then the car just died... when driving the RPMs wobbled between 2 and 3rd but didnt want to push it to hard b/c it didnt want to move it seemed.. Nothing is leaking. it seems as if the engine is not getting the gas to stay powerd up.. im thinking but dont know about cars... i just hope iots not serious.. cant really afford at the moment to take it to a shop..

90,000 miles....hmmmm....

I would start with some cheap items first. Lots of folks will tell you to replace your fuel pump and if it's in your tank it will be expensive to replace. Check with the parts store and see if there is an external fuel filter. Replace that and see what happens. Shouldn't cost more than $15

Altima no start, check the distributor. remove the distributor car and rotor, carefully pull back the black cover under the cap and rotor. Did engine oil pour out?
If so replace the distributor assembly.
Get is from Nissan. It comes with a new cap and rotor. Its a common failure item for the Altima 4 cylinder engine
After market ones are junk, Yes the Nissan one costs more, but it's a much better unit.

Sorry, I can't see your car from here. If may be the coil pack. It may be the fuel pump. It may be the fuel filter. It may be a loose wire in the ignition circuit. The only way to know for sure is to take it in to your favorite mechanic for a diagnosis. Is it under warranty since you just got it, or did you buy it as is?
