I know this is gross...but I wanted to cover all bases before I called the doctor. I am 30 weeks pregnant, and having something like a rectal cramp randomly throughout the day. Sometimes they are 2-3 minutes apart, sometimes they will just come out of nowhere. It feels like someone stabs me. It only lasts about 2 seconds, but is enough to make me jump! Does anyone have experience with this, or know what it is??

Thanks

I've had 3 boys and I think your "butt cramp" is just par for the course. Seriously I had the same thing going on with my third son while I carried him. You should call and ask your Dr. just to be on the safe side-but if it's your first pregnancy you are gonna experience things that you would never notice or think twice about.Good luck!

Please call your doctor. No one here will be able to offer a definitive answer.

My contribution to the speculation is spasms of the pelvic floor. They feel like stabbing in the rectal area, just like you are describing, and they affect men and women, though mostly women.

LOL (sry TMI) I had this comparable ingredient while i grew to become into FIRST pregnant, yet they have ceased now. I have not have been given any theory what the hell that's, yet i'd get those random sharp pains suitable on my anus. Up till i grew to become into 8 weeks or so.

is it possible you need to have a bm? im thinking that you need to go and the pressure of the weight of the baby is making the increased pressure of your bowel movement cause the pain
