religions arent what typically i have a problem with, i have an issue with the ppl that force the idea that the religion they follow is the only possible answer for existance, and if you dont follow it, you're wrong, and are less of a person for it.

just this morning i went to buy some insulation at home depot, and there was this box truck getting loaded up that had giant lettering on both sides that read about "the meaning of christmas is JESUS, if you celebrate santa claus and some imaginary reindeer you need to seek redemption". there were a few things that blatently said that "you're a sinner that needs to find christ or you'll burn in hell and deserve it".

the whole time, i'm thinking "well, he's right about the christmas thing, but who is he to tell anyone how to live?"
children arent supposed to enjoy a little bit of wonder in this life? and doesnt the bible say its a sin for anyone to judge others?

all this guy's points are right out the window when he presents himself as a lunatic.

any religion that enriches a person's life is a good thing right up until they force it on someone else and shut themselves off from the ability to examine and analyze their beliefs. when you do that you're just as bad as anything you preach against.

I believe,,,,,,,,,,

I Know that religion is "A TRUTH",,,not strictly a proven fact. In that TRUTH religion offers us a comfort zone,,,often hung on us at birth. We grow into it, not strictly by choice, but if it FEELS OK we nurture it, perhaps even study it, follow it,,,sometimes begrudginly, and HOPE that it offers us fulfillment,,,whcih is does to many.

As we mature, acquire knowledge, exercise free will, and evolve, thaT BASE may become unstable, or it's context confusing,,, not answering our innumerable questions.

If that happens, IT SEEMS TO ME,,,that it's a message, and a time to seek another Comfort Zone,,,or Comfort level.

What I believe to be TRUTH can always be in doubt by enlarge. What Science defines as fact, might be disputed,,, but so often, is still fact,,, after those theories have either been verified, or disproven.

WHO DO YOU KNOW,,,personally, who can state, in their truth,,,,what an afterlife is all about?

That isn't to say we shouldn't BELIEVE or have a FAITH,,,it merely suggests, that NO ONE can "KNOW" until after THIS LIFE has ended,,,what the FACTS are,,,regarding RELIGION.

Reverend Steven

No offense to anyone, but when someone says to me ONE GOD,,,is it not possible that ones own beliefs,,,which are very personal,,, don't just NAME GOD differently?

Religions could be a good thing...

...but too many people use it as an excuse for their actions.
