I'm a Probation Officer in Indiana, and here you could be charged with Vandalism or Criminal Mischief, both of which are misdemeanors. You would be arrested, and once you admit or are found to be have committed the alleged offense, you would be placed on Probation. For those offenses, I'd probably recommend a 6-9 month period of probation. You would also have to pay restitution for any damage you caused.
While on probation, you would have to pay $100 admin fee, $100 initial probation user fees, and $20 a month probation fees. I'd also recommend that you attend a 12 week class on cognitive-based thinking skills, do 48-60 hours juvenile road crew, and 1 or 2 days juvenile boot camp.
If you complete all the terms of your probation and pay all your fees, your case would be successfully closed. That means it can't be used against you as an adult if you were to commit another offense once you are an adult. If you don't fulfill all the requirements, I might extend your probation, and ask for more road crew time or more boot camp. If I close your case unsuccessfully, your juvenile record can, and will, be used against you to show that you have a criminal record if you are arrested as an adult.

Depends on your state law.
In New York damaging property is Criminal Mischief, a Class A misdemeanor. Punishable with up to 1 year in jail and $1,000 fine.
If over 16 you get a record, under 16 you get charged as a Juvenile and go to family court with your family.
Regardless of your age, you will have to make restitution and your parents can be sued if your under 21.

Yes it's called Vandalism. Find something else to do on Halloween like volunteer at a hospital for children with Cancer who can't enjoy candy.

depends on whose house it is, if its the local police chiefs or da's, then yes they will probably prosecute, for vandalism or criminal trespass or something, and it will go on your record. If you egg the local pariah, then no, they will probably wink and not be able to catch you..
