I was visiting Edgar Allen Poe's home which is a tourist stop. In the kitchen I heard a voice say "This is more people than I want here." The voice was very calm and gentle. I asked two people if they heard anything, and they said no but thought it would be cool. The next Halloween I was drawing/coloring pumpkins with the Poe themes and I was drawing a raven. I heard the same voice say, "You like that poem?" I kept working and when I was drawing Poe's grave site my neighbor knocked on my door to get her pumpkin. And she said, "I see you remembered the telltale heart?"
I nearly jumped out of my skin! This was all pretty weird and I haven't done any Poe stuff since then. But I am a real devotee and enjoy the experiences whatever they are! It is almost time for me to do the pumpkins again.

I've never seen a ghost but there was this one time when the television in our old home started to change channels by itself. I've read that spirits who have gone to the other side sometimes come back to say "hello," maybe my grandfather was just saying hi. I also almost go to to to Alcatraz, I went to CA to see my friend last year, but it costs at least $130 for the entire tour of the prison. I bet it's haunted.

I was surfing the world wide web, one dark lonely night, when a black window appeared in the middle of my computer monitor. To my surprise, the word 'hello' was in print inside this mysterious box, and at once, out of thin air, an eerie knocking was made up on the chest of drawers that once stood in the house where my late grandmother once lived. I was stunned with fear and I thought certainly someone in the spirit world was trying to contact me. I am waiting all this time since for further messages from beyond the grave . . .

i understand this is going to sound bogus, yet I swear up and down that it really is a 100% real tale. As a senior in intense college, I felt like my existence changed into directionless and without which skill. I had a mild theory of what occupation i had to pursue, yet i changed into somewhat uncertain about it. in some unspecified time sooner or later, at the same time as mendacity on my trampoline and feeling more beneficial than commonly annoyed, I prayed to God and informed him that i changed into drained of all of this indecision. I suggested, "supply me an indication! enable me understand something, for crying out loud!" presently thereafter, I went interior, the sky began to darken, and one heckuva wind starting up roaring in. It changed into nigh-twister power... in between the most effectual gusts, my ears popped, about 0.5 of the shingles were torn off our roof, my trampoline went over the abode and into the front backyard, and an previous o.ok.tree through the line (which changed into already huge at the same time as my grandfather turned right into a boy) fell with a convincing crash. enable me allow you to recognize, I have by no skill requested God for yet another signal for the reason that, and that i by no skill will again. it really is too darn aggravating at the same time as He obliges the request!!! from time to time his signs and indicators are tender little nudges, yet at different circumstances... i'm presently pursuing that occupation i wanted an indication about, through ways, and thus far i'm loving each minute of it. :)
