ITS THE POSTMAN'S DAY OFF. THEY WORK 6 DAYS A WEEK SO THAT IS THEIR ONLY OFF

they barely deliver it on the normal 6 days they're supposed to let alone another additional day- out of the question. Don't even expect there to be any prompt deliveries sunshine!

Sunday is the traditional day of rest.
Most businesses are closed on Sunday and probably don't use the Post Office either.
