My hubby said he wants to work xmas eve for the extra money we have 2 small children at home who will want their daddy! What should i do!
Also he has arranged to go out new year with his mates and didnt invite me, i asked him why and he said "i deserve to go out with my mates in new year without you" im really hurt about this as i want to see the new year in with him, he also knows that i have no friends to go out with as they all have other arrangments and the others dont like going out!!

My perception is this. He's thinking of the family's financial needs on the first hand; the kids will be in bed on Christmas ( it STILL has Christ in it) eve, and not note his being gone as much as you will.
On the second situation, he is being somewhat of a jerk. he should stay home with you, or take you out to a couples party and hire a babysitter with the money he earned Christmas eve. BUT, he know that you would be bored to death, having a pint with HIS mates, and listening to all the boy talk, jokes, lies, exxxagerations, etc that goes on in an all-male group. So he thinks he's saving you from boredom.
Perhaps this is his one chance in the year to celebrate with his mates. If that's true, then you should be glad. if not, then he is being a jerk, and you have a right to grouse about it.
Ask some of the "others' you mention to come to your place, and have your own party!

Christmas to most people is a special time of the year. if he wanted to make extra money he could have done it all through the year. also he had all year to go out with his "mates". i would ask him why he would choose to do these things now. could be more than you think.

tell him that it is great you want to work on xmas for our family tell him you also work on xmas watching the kids .and you want to spend time with the him bring the new year i am in love with my wife and want to spend time with her she is my best freind we have kids at home 12 10 4 even if we just run to walmart is ok .its all i need to see her, i want to ask is how is your sex life if that is not ok then work on that that might bring you closer i know this is way out there but if you to want to bring other people in to your bed room to spice it up it is not for eveyone you need to talk a lot about it
