no, the stories about him being in a coma and/or dying after a drunk driving accident earlier in the month are just rumors

I think every popular young actor/musician has had rumors go around that he/she has died suddenly/horribly/been murdered/etc. Almost every one of the rumors has been false. Any really odd news item or rumor should be check for its veracity before you spread it. Most are urban legends.
