Wow thats very bizarre. How will you get the dog to stay on the horse? I havent heard of any riding gear for dogs. I just dont think they need it, especially a helmet!! But what a sight that would be. Good luck!

Horses (all horses) legally could have one acre consistent with animal. whether they may well be saved in the type you defined, that is awfully inhumane. A horse (of ANY length) is an animal with a suggestions and physique designed to graze and wander. a house and a a million/3 of an acre exterior are no place for a horse to stay. Minis may well be puppy length, yet they are actually not quite pets. They require a brilliant number of care, purely as any horse does, and prefer all different horse are costly to maintain. that is in comparison to a canines, the place you purchase it, take it for a walk, feed it and take it to the vet as quickly as a 12 months for checkups. Volunteer at a close-by driving good and tell them your plan (attempt to no longer get smacked interior the approach!) you may study lots approximately keeping horses by ability of mucking some stalls and "putting out" interior the barn!

Yes they have mini saddles. I don't know about dog helments but they aren't likely to land on their heads. I know some one who rides with her dog. She wears a vest with a strap so she can jump around from her "seat" to the horses neck. Any thing can work if you're serious have fun. You might consider a mini who pull scarts then you and your dog can go out together.

That's, well, odd.....lol I guess so long as you don't have a great dane or a rottweiler, and you're talking something more like a chihuahua or a dachshund, then I guess there's nothing wrong with it. Serious though, yes they do sell riding gear for mini's but I've never seen riding gear designed for dogs.
