I live in Southern CA so I end up paying around 500 - 600 dlls a month for just electricity, during the hot months of summer.

That depends on a hell of allot. Size of house, what part of the world you in, how warm do want to be, how cool do you want to be and utility rates in your area. There is no way of telling by asking people that question without allot more info.

I live in an apartment in KY. I spend about $80.00 a mo. on electricity, and $15.00 on water. I guess I'm lucky compared to some of these other answers.

I live in P.R.
electricity = 124.00 a month
water = 50.00 a month
gas = 56.00 in 6 month
