I already have a Hewlett Packard IPAQ but I never really learned how to use all of its functions. I was wanting something really small that I could wear during my workouts. I was told that a MP3 player is for music downloads only. So what is an IPod? or what's the difference between an IPOD and a IPAQ? Is it just the brand?

They're pretty much the same. I'm sure some of the features are different but other than that they're basically music players. The iPod does play videos too, I'm not sure about the IPAQ.

i was told ipod u can play music vids on mp3 just plays music

it's mostly the brand...also, an i-pod was built to work with i-tunes
