The Baltimore Marathon on October 14, 2006

There is also a half-marathon and a 5-K race and a relay.
The course begins with an uphill portion, a downhill descent, a flat portion, another uphill portion and a downhill finish. Most people enjoy it - after the uphill start. I'm not a marathoner but I enjoy the publicity the race brings to the city. There is TV coverage.

Baltimore has an entire running festival, the key event of which is the marathon. I have heard very good things about it and the route is structured so that it is challenging without being run through any 'bad' areas. No sense getting shot at while you already running!

Hendersshot's Marathon on Green Street. Their gas goes up and down just like everyone elses does. Their Michanics Suck and are quite expensive.

Yea, the Boston marathon. But I don't see the point, some people from Africa win every year.

My town has a couple each year. I havent heard anything one way or another about it. All I know is they run right by my street and sometimes they cause minor annoyances for me when I'm trying to drive somewhere. But I've learned to not try going anywhere on those mornings.

And I thought to myself.. "You're a math teacher"... but it was kinda cool sonce we're on the track team and all
