ive heard so many people asking what ashley tisdale wears or zac effron or mylie cyrus! why do people want to know anyway??? its not like the celebrities will like them more if they wear the same thing as them!?

Many people are frightened of the idea of coming up with their own style, so they look to the "popular" to find clues. Also, the designers provide these "popular" folks with free clothing or advance looks at the new fashions. This is done in hopes of getting other people to want the same clothing. It's a form of advertising, and it has worked for centuries.
Most of us want to fit in and we look to the trendsetters to know what to do. Not necessarily a good thing, but very normal.

I don't have a clue. It's dumb to be obsessed over that anyways. It's not like the average person can afford what they wear and it looks like something you can get for a couple of hundred bucks if you look hard enough and looks just as elegant.

well look girls just think that the more pretty they look the better chance they have to get a man. boys just look for the pretty girls the nice dress with fancy things. but are they really that pretty from the inside? i dint think that pretty girls with fancy things will love a men better that the ones that are not all into themselves . t

i think that they just need a role model to look up to. its also possible that these said people think that the clothes are cute just because everybody else has seen them and also thinks their cute on the famous people are wearing them.

society for the most part can care less about what "regular" people wear. and besides it gives them something to do and something to talk about...put it this way..people (society) doesn't care for what your neighbor or anybodys neighbor is wearing because they don't have what they have. and what they have is fame and recognition.
