I love the band but I just want to know who doesn't like them or hates them? Why?

I think people hate it because I spit out random facts about them.
Seriously though, some music just isn't for some people. I have a lot of people at school think that I'm tasteless for eschewing Fifty Cent and covering my ears every time I hear "Mah hums, mah hums, mah lovely liddle lums".
For God's sake, they aren't even saying anything other than everything's about drugs, sex, money, and crime. If you don't have big boobs no one will love you. If you're not "ridin' dirday" then you aren't cool.
Personally, I think mindless, freak-you-out headphone tricks and songs about homeless mice are much better than bass and cocaine. (Even if this little mouse was brought to mind while enjoying a drug.) I like Floyd because it has something different than a lot of music. Who wants to be a "worm" anyway?
And to James N... THEY are several people, THEY are named Roger, David, Nick, and Rick. (And Syd instead of David if you go into their earliest days.) THEY would not appreciate you calling THEIR hard work HIS hard work. Named after Syd's favorite jazz musicians, Pink Anderson and Floyd Council. THEY, not HE.

Pink Floyd is alright, but I don't consider them one of the best bands, ever. I know alot of people do, but that is their opinion.

I do not like them...too slow for me,rock wise...grew up through the 80's and they were always a stoner band to me...it was like if you didnt like Pink Floyd you don't apprecaite epic music or pot...come on...hated them both...

how can anybody actually hate pink floyd/his wide range of music is second to none!did you know his dark side of the moon album stayed #1 for 425 consecutive weeks!what other band can come even close!
