My daughter wants an iPod for Christmas and I am technologically challenged, lol. Can anyone recommend one? She is just wanting a small one for songs only, no videos or anything like that unless I can find one not totally over high in price. Thanks.

If she specifically wants an IPod, then do not listen to the first 2 people that answered. You can get a 4GB (1000 songs) IPod Nano for $200 and it comes in blue, green, pink, and silver. You could also get the 2GB (500 songs) Nano for $150, but it only comes in silver.

I don't know about inexpensive but Microsoft is coming out with a brand new MP3/Movie player named Zune. You might want to check that out. It is suppose to play full length movies as well as play music.

As for a cheap option I would recommend the Ipod Nano.

Whatever you do, don't get something for her that isn't an IPOD. The imitation products are almost all horrid and she really won't like it.

Get an IPOD Nano. It's not that expensive and holds a ton of songs. It also has a color display. I promise you, she will enjoy it.
