i had it 3 times! cuz my body always rejects it!!! i donno y i do it again everytime my body rejects it... anyway after piercing it u have to wait about a month and a half to change it, be carful it gets easily infected so be sure u clean it twice a day for a month. then after that u can clean it only once a day. its not gonna hurt u but it sure will if its infected.. when its infected its gonna b itchy, red and sometimes weird stuff come out of it! one more thing.. at the beginig use silver, gold or medical rings.. dont use the plastic ones

Keep any and all pants or jeans from rubbing on it, otherwise it WILL hurt or get irritated. I used peroxide on it daily at least twice a day, and kept neosporin on it. I would try to put neosporin on the ring itself and push it through the new peircing, it keeps it loosened, and the skin will not stick to the ring...you do not want the skin sticking to the ring at all, it will hurt. Mine quit bleeding within a few days and healed. I did not change mine out until 8 weeks had passed. In order to wear the cute dangly belly rings, you have to have your peircing perfectly centered, and not on the edge of your navel. I made sure that the top part of my belly ring was a centemeter from the edge and perfectly centered so i could wear the different styles.

If it itches it could either be healing or you are allergic to the metal in the ring. I had a friend have a bad reaction and she had to have it sugically removed, the area lanced, and drained, and then stiched up...she never tried to peirce it again after that. I have had mine peirced for 9 yrs.

After you get it pierced you need to wait at least 2 months before you change the ring. You will also need to wait about 6 weeks before swimming, sitting in a hot tub, or taking a bath after getting it done. You can clean it with antibacterial liquid soap and make sure you move the ring around and wash your hands before you touch it. It is easiest to clean it while in the shower. Keep it dry because it can get infected very easily. To help fight off infection you can also use saline solution (the kind for contacts) to clean it but not in place of the soap. Mine did not bleed at all and occasionally hurt until after it completely healed. Good luck!

The most important thing is to keep it clean a nd dry..... they get infected really easily. i was told to clean mine with Dial liquid soap. mine never bled but it takes about a year to heal completely. make sure to put bacitracine (not sure how to spell it) on for a while... it will help it heal and keep bacteria out.

It could take month and month for ti to full heal. but you could probably chane out the jewelry in 2 or 3, just to be on the safe side. make sure you lean the area fully. and after you are not hurting so muych.. make sure you take out the jewelry and clean it well too..
