There are two:
Memento because you have to pay attention to even try following what's going on. Then you have to think about it for a while and then watch it again. And again. Movies are so shallow usually, it doesn't take much to "get" them. Even the ones that are confusing at first usually make sense at the end. But Memento you have to watch over and over. I finally understood it after the fifth viewing. Plus... Guy Pierce.
Fight Club is fantastic. It gives a different view of the world but also has some crazy humor. And it has Eward Norton in it, so...

I think the Lord of the Rings: the Return of the King is the best. Why? Cause it has plenty of action, the right amount of drama, and a story that just draws you into the movie. Sorry, no aliens.

i would say braveheart that had aliens too. i guess everyone has their own taste, i like a film that either makes me think feel or incites a fantasy. there should be more films about the end of the world, a love story perhaps, the world is chaotic everyone screaming panicking then 2 eyes meet and at last they find love.

I can mention these six movies, but the list is really very long:
Death in Venice
Amarcord
Midnight Cowboy
Ryan’s Daughter
La Belle de Jour
Johnny Got his Gun
They were all great movies for me because they were real or realistic, moved me or baffled me.

none, the background music gets on my nerves, people die in films then come back the next day in a stupid soap opera, they are a bunch of overpaid actors reading a script. most films are three hours of boredom, however each to their own, some people will watch a film three or four times, i say get a life. i watched one once, i think it was called jaws, it was about a group of blokes trying to kill a plastic shark.
