ive been there numerous times its an average city to me seemed kind of dull and boring i wouldnt consider ita violent city but it does have crime like every where else but not drastic crime like compton camden n.j or anywhere like that and its kinda quiet too

I have been to Taunton Ma many times. It's a small city that is the Government Center of Bristol county. Very little to do if you are not a Lawyer. A few bars, one or two clubs. Not much night life. My impression of the city is not very good. Try Providence,RI and commute.

I have been to Taunton and my impression is that it is a lower/middle class area with some crime and violence. I probably would not be able to find a reason to go back.

I lived there for a short while in 1981 and I did not like it there at all. Seemed to me to be a violent place and you could not drink the water there. Could be that they have improved it since then. As you can see it has been a number of years.

Sure, I've been there. It's an alright city, not at all like it used to be. However, there are much nicer places!
