and i was wondering if i can make it pre-paid cell phone?
the only thing is that the phone has no sim card. about how much would a sim card cost me? thanks that would help.. or how i would be able to make it pre-paid.. my mom also has the exact same phone as in pre-paid but she bought it already like that.

give it to the police or find it's owner and return it to them.Their probably gonna shut it off anyways. But no you couldn't you would have to go with the plan they had.

Try finding someone listed on the phone that says mom or dad or grandma or grandpa.that is saved there and then call one of these people and let them know you found this phone. The best thing you can do is go through those numbers and see if you can track down the owner.

It's not your phone. If you try to activate it, the serial number will come up and if the owner reported it lost/stolen, you won't be able to activate it anyway. (That's according to what they are saying over in the cell phone chat rooms anyway.)
