In the early years of fashion shows they didnt want to bother with the models nails so the basic french manicure was invented. The simple pink and white semi natural look didnt clash with the clothes. It weas probably made up in paris on the those run ways.

im not sure either .. but i have worn acrylic nails for 7 years and have only had problems with them twice. i have the french manicure in different colors other than white. that's boring to me! = )

Long time ago I think most of the gals talking FRENCH were applied this manicure............hence the name FRENCH manicure came in....................
