You’ll see them hit the floor at about the same time.
But if you drop them off the top of a high ladder, you’ll see the golf ball hit first. What is your explanation?

Air resistance to the ping pong ball slows it more than the golf ball.

The higher up you go the further the distance of the drop and because a golf ball weighs more than a ping pong ball it will fall faster picking up speed on its way down. The ping pong ball doesn't gain much speed at all.

the ping pong weighs less so the air resistance has a great effect on it...

from a higher place, gravity has more time to affect the object with more mass.
