There may be value as a collectable, but in 1993 the old peso was replaced by the new peso with 1,000 old pesos equaling one new peso.

With the pesos currently valued at around 11 pesos to one US dollar, an old pesos would be 11,000 to the dollar.

The deadline for converting old pesos passed several years ago. So any value would be only as a collectable.

A peso from 1972 is worth about 0.001 pesos from now.

And 11 pesos from now are 1 dolar.
but maybe if you keep it you can sell it to a person that colects that at about 20 dolars

If you own 1972.00 current pesos you would exchange them for 180 dollars more of less.

If you own one peso from 1972, it's for the memories because the exchange rate move three zeros at early 90's and you need 11,000.00 old pesos to change per USD dollar

have a nice day.
