it is so exspensive to publish a book i wrote one and it seems impossible to get it read it is my life story till 1981 and boy was it tuff intrested it is on a site called ex child prisoners sorry lost the link for it

Ok, first please don't be insulted but if your book reads like your question you have to first clean up your writing style before you'll have any chance at going into writing as a profession. Even if its only one book, you have to think like a professional and think like a publisher who will not want to invest hundreds of manhours on editing poor spelling, grammar etc.

Personal life stories are very hard to sell unless you have a "name" in your community, or socially on a broader scale. Alternatively there has to be a pretty amazing hook to get the work considered, especially if you're a new writer.

I don't mean to sound discouraging. I was fortunate and got to live my dream as a writer much to my own dismay, but I also feel a strong responsibility toward hopeful writers to be honest with them so they don't make the mistakes I did early on -- one of which was thinking that it was easy. It's truly a 40 hour a week job, if not more, to produce and support any written works.
