Always give year, make, engine size and model # when asking questions. Some people don't know who makes an areo. Different years can sometimes make a difference. Is it a vt750c or vt750ca.

?? why would you want to adjust the barakes? They are pretty much self adjusting to begin with. I see no reason to adjust them unless you have "drum brakes", and you have changged the brake-shoes. If the parking brake is on the rear, then you might want to do a routine adjustment on them, -- if handle is pulling pretty far out(/up), - which means that they should be adjusted!

Disc brakes ar totally self adjusting, (even after changing brake pads),- unless you have some sort of brake problem to begin with!
