No, Clinton refused to have Osama killed because he feared it would lead to the loss of more lives than he wanted.

And contrary to Richard Clarke's book, the Bush Administration DID NOT ignore Osama Bin Laden. The September 7, 2001 State Department terrorist alert proves that.

You mean when he had Osama in his sights and asked Congress for approval to fire a tomahawk at him, and the Republican Congress refused to let him shoot?

Is that the plot you were talking about? The one that all of the conservatives comdemning him with all kinds of derrogatory titles for wanting to do?

No, it's not a conspiracy, it was all out in the open.

And answergirl...let's be honest here...Clinton had several opportunities to catch or kill Osama, and he didn't because the Republican Congress wouldn't let him!

He also caught every terrorist that ever attacked our country while he was in office...except for Osama and Zarqawi and a few others, who he was not allowed to go after.

It wasn't even that it was Clinton trying cover his a$$ after the fact and an attempt to make him look as if he cared. Are we supposed to believe the guy who looked into the cameras and said " I never ever had sexual relations with that woman, Miss Lewinsky." and then lied to a federal grand jury too about his lack of leadership when it came to Osama or any of the terrorist attacks against the US during his time in office?

Another twist that Clinton has done time after time..,first he claimed that he didnt go after bin laden because there was no reason to [that he said at a college speech] and then he says he tried to have him killed? He keeps stepping in it doesnt he?Its one thing to condradict yourself..,but hes stupid enough to do it in public..l,just like he said he has never critisized Bush..what did he say about the President the foreign countries hes visited recently..,The lies keep rolling right off his tongue.

Read Tommy Franks book,he was head of CentCom..,different story than Clintons croonie.

Clinton had no plot to have Osama killed. He was much to busy in the Oval Office with interns. He did actually mess up several opportunities to capture Bin Laden prior to 9/11. Please do some research.
