I might try to email some folk ,but I am a computer muppet. So, if you did answer my question , thanks very much , I appreciate it.

When you reach Level Two, you can give each good answer a "Thumbs up". You should pick a best answer so someone can get the 10 points. Then, you can add a comment saying that ALL the answers were helpful.

The best way to thank someone for anything is individually. If you want to do that but find it hard to write that many thank you notes on emails, write one and get it just right. Check your spelling and all that. Highlight it. Press ctrl+C (2 keys at the same time.) This makes a copy. Go to each person's email and click in the box where you write. Pres ctrl+V. Voila! There's a copy of your note.

You just did,,,smiles.

One thing I suggest is thank all, in advance, and especially the BEST after the fact.

Thanking in advance affirms to those that regard your Q as valid, took the time to answer with respect. Those who don't will get a thank you anyway, and can take it as they wish.

They all get points for answering, no need to thank. I'm sure it is part of the purpose of this site that answers are rewarded with points. Although cash is always nice.

Just a simple thanks from the heart is all you need in any situation, I'm pretty sure that the people who answered your question about lines know you are thankful.
The word thanks is a short one but goes a long way when said.

Peace.

You can edit and add extra bits to your questions... a short message of thanks can be added there. It is often appreciated - even by those who don't then subsequently get the 10 points.

The bitterness then fades, and we all think of you as a warm and tender-hearted human being, even if we didn't get those valuable points and so our children have to starve through the cold, cold winter.

If people read this question, you've already done it. No need to try and reach every one who answered.
