some1 plz help me with my nieces homework.... using just four 4s how do u make the number 7??? plz help

4 + 4 - (4/4)

The way I reasoned was as follows. 7 is an odd number, so I shall have to use two of the 4s to make a 1 (4/4 = 1). The others add up to 8.

4 divided by 4 = 1
4 plus 4 = 8
8 - 1 = 7
