Sweety... yes it can. A U.T.I can delay your period for several days depending on how bad it is. A UTI can also be transmitted sexually. Kidney infections arent caught sexually, usually their caught by bacteria or other things. You see the body is a link. And if one thing is infected another body part of the body may and most likely react due to the fact that the body part that is infected helps another part and another part. Get it?
Symptoms of UTI can include: terrible headaches, nausea, discomfort, fainting, and ect.
So remember practice good sex, and take care. If you continue with any symptoms or your period is delayed you may be pregnant or you may have something else. See your doctor and talk to them about whats going on.
PS: It can also be any medication your taking that may be causing side effects. Talk to your doctor about whats going on. Take care!
Sincerely yours,
A medical assistant (in training)

Yes, it can. Also, it coud be your medicine affecting your period. Anti-biotics for kidney infections are pretty harsh. But there is no harm in taking a pregnancy test. Buy a cheap one, they're all the same. Just make sure you follow the instructions carefully.

I couldn't just sit around and do nothing like my doctors suggested.
They didn't want me to do anything or to take herbs or herbal remedies, but I had to try something - they just wanted me to do dialysis!
This program allowed me to take control of my health. I went from Stage 4 to Stage 3 kidney disease.
It was easy to do and my BUN, creatinine and anemia are all in better ranges.
