Compare the "staying power" of one brand of cosmetic to another.(how longs does Brand X lipstick stay on as opposed to Brand Y lipstick) Check ingredients for the best match up as well as size, weight) List how you tested each.
Maybe do a survey of the student body as to which "something" they like best? You can do this with anything! Fast food, Perfumes etc.
List several reasons why they prefer one food chain to another. distance, cost, taste, friendly staff, blah blah blah......or one scent to another...clean, cheap, current fad, sweet, ...
What brand of ink pen is more apt to run when wet? Use several for comparision.
Plant 2 seed in 2 separate cups. Give one light, warmth and water...give the other no extra care. Which one grew? Why? How? List what you did for each. How long did it take?
Whats the value of the American dollar as opposed to another countries? How many U.S. dollars does it take to buy a pair of jeans? How many of the other countries dollars does it take to buy the same pair of Jeans?
Be imaginative and offer visual aides.

I have an idea. get 1 plant put foil on its leaves after five days it is brown colored.
