The colon (:) is usually used in ratio problems.

- 18 - 92 = -110
The Ratio -110:33 = - 3 1/3

first, we have to remember that division comes before minus action.
then we know that 90:30=3 so the evaluation is -18-3=-21
you can evaluate this as -20 as well

-8+2.(78)=-5.(21)
