Yet, the MBTA placed a commuter rail into Providence, Rhode Island, and they are planning on expanding it soon into Warwick, Rhode Island.

Good news the rail is coming. It took 13 years to get all the permits (ahhh we love the commonwealth). I hear the last permit was secured and the money is in place. If the pols don't mess it up, construction will start soon. The commuter rail went to to Providence because Rhode Island paid for it.

I think they base it on where people work, and it seems a lot of people work in the RI area. Trying to cut down on the 95 traffic and such. . .Although I'm sure going to Fall River wouldn't be a bad idea either.

I think there was a railroad in the past, a long time ago.
