I think that there aren't many negative things, in general compters help people, they aren't bad. Everyone knows how long he should work with the computer and if not he has a problem and don't blame it on the computer.
I think it's good that he asked this question, yahooanswers is for asking questions so don't complain about his question.
It's a homework where he has to consider many opinions, pros and cons so why not posting it here?!

You don't need any websites to write this essay, neither do you need someone else to write a few paragraphs for you. Just sit down and think about some of the great ways a computer is used and consider a few destructive ways this wonderful device has been misused. For example: Hackers, Child predators, Pornography and IdentityThieves. Also, it is quite easy to become addicted to the computer and spend too much time on it when we should be doing something else. You can come up with some things I haven't even thought about, so get to it and write that wonderful essay. Yes, you can do it, and do it well. Have a little faith in your own abilities.

Looking on a computer for an answer would be 1 of your points.
Use your own brain, not the computer's.......(I'm not trying to be funny)
Think about it. How was the world before computers came along?
What were the pros and cons of that? Then compare that era of time to what the world was/is like with computers. What are the pros and cons of that scenario?

The pc can be a negative influence when you use it to cheat by getting an essay online :)

Your subject rely could be: It impacts scholars negatively by way of fact they start to have faith in the computing gadget to do their homework for them. this form of shame. and the guy above me is actual suitable, you will get kicked out of school for that and it is going on your everlasting checklist. Well, I think the negative effect is the way that people like you will ask a total stranger like me to do your homework assignment for you and then not have the courtesy to say "Please" and "Thank you.
So... I'm going to use MY computer to help affect YOUR life... by saying DO YOUR OWN HOMEWORK.
