I really need to go ASAP...so, any help you give me will be greatly appretiated...HOW DO I GET THERE when I have school to attend...I do have winter break though...(I am 17). I need to find really cheap airfairs...I have $$ :P

Japan is Home???
Fly to Osaka (Kansai Intl airport) and take the Shinkansen to Okayama. I have done that leg once. If you cannot get a flight to Osaka, then fly to Narita, take one of the busses to Haneda and then take a flight to Okayama airport. Okayama Airport is not so close to Okayama City, but it is in the general area.
I have along time friend in Okayama and I have been there several times. Osaka airport and shinkansen is the best route.

Do you have a passport?
If you have to attend school where you are at now, and need to be in Japan at the same time, you might want to talk to your guidance counsellor to see if arrangements can be made if its a family emergency. Potentially you might have to repeat a semester or something if it is critical that you be in Japan now.
If you don't have a passport and don't have dual citizenship (which I am guessing you probably do) you would need to go thru the passport offices in an emergency way, which is possible but costs more money.
Once you are on the ground in Japan, thats where my experience ends. Good luck and hope everything is ok.

isnt winter break in like two months? so sounds like you have time ti search for a low fare, though be warned that december fares are expensive.
