yes, this is a some what common symptom for boys, swollen breasts during puberty, in fact one of my sons had it when he was going through puberty. assure him that this is normal (and temporary) but, i would still check it out with a doctor just incase.

Congrats on having a good relationship with your son. My nipples got very sore during puberty which made the game that my friends and I played where we would grab another's nipples and twist as hard as we could while walking in between classes very unenjoyable. But as for the tenderness I just think it's a sign of growth and nothing to worry about. And it's something I would never tell my parents about. Happy parenting.

Does he run a lot? That's the most likely cause of nipple chafe. If not, look for signs of swelling and even lactation. These are not uncommon symptoms of marijuana use in adolescence.

i dont think its part of puberty coz havent heard of something like that before ( ofcourse i maybe be wrong) .i advise you to consult a doctor ...and get it treated

He's fine it's normal. He'll have it for a few years but it goes away. They'll be puffy too.
