How do I keep the cats and dog out of my room?

I have my bunny in there, and I don't want to close the door, is there any other way to keep them out of my room?

You can put up a gate, but the cats could probably clear that with ease. I tell ya cats are impossible to train. If they want to go somewhere they just go. Some people say use a water bottle and spray them, but that won't stop the behavior. The dogs you can train much easier just by telling them to get out of the room.

I'm sorry you don't want to shut the door because that would be the most effective method of handling this. The other options are very expensive and a bit extreme.

Why don't you want to close the door? You could try a baby gate, that is how I keep my dogs confined to their room.

The bunny is loose in your bedroom, yeah if they get in what a mess you'll have. Close the the door or put them outside that is all you can do.

Bitter Apple. Pet store. Give them a taste, then spray the doorway Or the bunny cage if that's what you want to keep them from. Stuff works great. I use it on the garbage pail.

There is a product called Boundry Spray that contains a pheremone that repels cats and dogs. Spray the doorway every other day or so and the animals should stay clear. It is odorless to humans.

You can buy a gate made for children. I have one across my hall so the dogs dont disturb the cats. It works really well.
