I am trying to say, that does the lyrics in the song say what you feel?

I wouldn't say that the lyrics in songs you listen to dictate how you feel that much but it does happen, just not everytime.

not always.... i like alot of different styles of music, and sometimes i listen to the heavier songs and they have some morbid lyrics in them, but im not some psychotic that's going to go out and kill someone just because some band sings about murder and corruption. but on the other hand there are some songs that you listen too and you feel that the words in the song say exactly what you might feel at that time. there is a lot of songs i listen to just for the music there are songs i dont like but listen to just because the way the music is arranged. i play guitar so for me i listen to the music more than the lyrics.

I like the Beatles and Beethoven also but I do listen to upbeat music when I'm happy and darker music about breaking up when I'm depressed. I guess it could also reflect what kind of person you are. I love "Imagine" by John Lennon and all of my friends think I'm a hippie.

Not really. In a lot of the music today the lyrics don't really matter as long as there is a good beat. However, this is not always the case.

Depending on how serious you take a specific type of music, but I don't think music alone can reflect a persons personality.

yes i listen to whatever suits me best. i listen to the kind of music that suits whatever im feeling right then as well.
