I've checked wikipedia and racked my brains but I can't find or remember the name of the essay. I saw one written by Plato, but I'm sure thats a different one.

Did Aristotle even write such an essay?
Additionally, if you know any major Greek Philosophical or Dramatic work, could you tell me? I've got down the Iliad, they Odyssey, Poetics and Oedipus the King...I just don't know anymore, or at least, I can't tell which is really, really major these days. I've seen quite a few works by other philosophers...I just don't know if they're major or not. (Note, keep it Greek, I'm doing a timeline for school and I'm stuck. The text I have doesn't have any philosophers or literary works...its just historical facts.)

Try Book 8 of the Nicomachean Ethics. It's all about friendship.
As for major Greek works, I'm not sure just how major you're looking for. I'll point out a few that might be helpful:
For philosophy, you should probably take a look at "The Apology" and "The Republic" both of which Plato wrote. Aristotle's "Nicomachean Ethics" was also tremendously influential. (Many of our current ideas about the value of moderation can be found here.)
I'm not sure about dramatic works. You may know that "Oedipus the King" is part of a trilogy; the other two works are "Oedipus at Colonus" and "Antigone". Aristophanes' "The Clouds" and Euripides "Medea" are two other works that I enjoyed, but are not necessarily considered major works. (Although "Clouds" is probably the most famous of the Greek comedies)
Hope this helps!

I think that except Plato' s ''Phaedon'' which was dedicated to the meaning of friendship and love no other essay has been written exclusively for these meanings. Aristotle in his ''Ithika Nikomaxeia'' has presented what are the abilities one must develop in order to reach ''happiness''.
For what concerns major Greek Philosophical or dramatic work there are many and I believe you must start with the most known
Plato ''Politeia''
Aristotle ''Ithika Nikomaheia''
Aeschylos, ''Perses'' and ''Promitheas desmotis''
Sophoklis, ''Filoktitis''
Evripidis, ''Midia'' and ''Ifigeneia en Tavrois''
Also full informaton on Ancient Greek texts (including philosophic texts and excellent bibliography) you may find at book
''The Cambridge history of classical literature-volume I Greek literature'' , Cambridge University Press, Cambridge 1985 (It is a volume of about 1150 pages but it includes in a usefull index all relative titles as well as usefull comments on content)
Should you neeed to know further about Aristotle a rich edition is
Ackrill J.L., ''Aristotle the philosopher'', Oxford University Press, Oxford 1981 (It briefs clearly all sectors of Aristotelis' philosophy)
Each book has at the end a full bibliography of the original texts translated in English so you may choose.
