Ok, gross I know but last week on the 11th I got a really thick white discharge. Then here I am 14 days later with really bad cramps. Also, sore breasts. PMS and I am 13 with no 1st period yet. Am I about to start my period. Should I bye some pads.

It isn't gross. Just part of growing up. The thick discharge is probalby the corpus lutiem (sp???) which is a sign of ovulation. So you may be about to have a period.
Do you have a parent, or someone to talk to??? They can get the pads for you, make sure you know how to use them. If you live with your Dad I am sure he has some female friends who would be more than happy to help start you on this "journey".

Hi yes it sounds like you are the white discharge is you ovulating, i suggest you get in some pads you have nothing to worry about youll be fine. This is a big part of growing up your slowly becoming a woman good luck xxx

yes u shoude, i got my period last year and i am getting discharge rigte now as we speak bye pads, but if ur gonna tell ur mom tell her when shes in a bad mood, because then she gets all omgsh we have to goe celebrate, and yatta yatta yatta!! guudluk it sux!

Go talk to your mom about it she can tell you lot about whats going on cause she probably went through the same thing. Parents know lot more than you think they do.

the white discharge is normal, you'll have some every month. and yes very soon u will be getting your period.

It wouldn't hurt to be prepared. That's surly a sign of ovulation, so maybe. But don't get your hopes up too much, it may not be it this time. :)

although i would just go ahead and get tampons and read the instructions, or have someone show you how to do it
