okay well people at my school call me a freak and stuff cuz im kinda punk/goth to them so they dont like me. well last friday the preps thought it would be funny to get me back because last week i got pissed at one of them, Ryan. and i told him to get the f*ck out of my seat and it pissed them all off. but later i felt bad so i was being nice to show that i was sorry well they wouldnt drop it so Ryan hit me in the head with a ball and all of them laugh. to top it off that night i went to a football game with my friends and holden, one of the most prepiest boys ever decided he'd bring it up since almost all the preps of all grades where there. and he was like "hey when Ryan hit you in the head today it was so funny" and they all looked at me and started laughing like crazy. Emily said to be nice to them and they wont be mean to me but It doesnt work and I told her that and she thinks they are mean to me because im a bi***. How sould I act tord it all. [Prep Problem]

First of all this whole prep/goth rivalry thing is so stupid. Do you think any of that is going to matter outside of highschool?

No, the real world does not really care.

Perhaps next time instead of cussing at someone, you can just say, "excuse me but I think you are in my seat." and be nice about it.

dont change school, once a quiter always a quiter.
always fight 4 ur rights, but there s a civil way way to take them. dont be angry no 1 deserve, believe me.
ask them politely to do what u want them to do.

as for them, it doesnt matter if u were the pretiest or the smarts student in the hole school. outside what matters is ur personnality.

u cant act in that way with people, u hav 2 respect them.

dont think about ur collegues @ schools, the story of de ball will soon be forgoten, but dont do anythg else stupid as shoutin on some1 just cos he was on ur seat.
just respect people, dont be too frndly, when they talk to u answer politely, when u need anythg ask politely.

in the matter of laughin, when they were pointing @ u with 1 finger, 4 of their fingers were pointed @ them so, just be cool with it and dont get mad. always think b4 u act.

as for the 1 u re calling FRIEND (EMELY), well i dont think that a frnd will ever call her frnd a b***h, a frnd should be supportive and when she give the advice( no matter what u do, if u took by it or not), she should explain what u did, without callin u names.

dont go and fight with her now, just explain this point, so the next time, she wont say. every1 do mistakes, 4give all of them so they can forgive u.

well coming from a "prep" as u call them... first of all don't aggravate guys like that...more often that not it will come and bite u in the ***...but now all u can do is let it go...ur totally outnumbered so just be nice and ignore it all...dont apologize for anyhting that u did tho...that just shows weakness...and honestly it wouldnt hurt u to just kinda start dressing and acting like the other girls at ur school...guys can be mean to a girl that has a masculine appereance and/ or attitude but they dont really ever do it to a feminine girl...or u can switch school and have a fresh start but people there will judge u right away based on ur appereance so i dunno...its up to u if u want to change or not...just hang in there tho...high school is just a passing phase and not everyone in that group is an asshole...just ignore them and u'll be fine

Be nice to them. It'll hit them from the left field (so to speak). Don't dress in khaki pants and a pink sweater if you don't feel like it, but don't be rude or act superior. And cease prep-bashing, every punk/goth teenager does it. It's played out. Learn to appreciate people on a personal, not cultural or subcultural, basis.

There is that kind of problem at every school that you go to. One girl in particular tried picking on me in school. At 1st it really bothered me, cause I didn't do anythng to her. But I got tired of it stood up to her and after that I ignored her and stuck my nose up at her and she backed off. Sometimes thats all it takes.It sounds to me that Ryan and the guy who brought it up has personal issues of there own to be following the crowd like that. Maybe there too superficial and shallow to be there own person istead of what there friends want them to be.Maybe you could try turning it around on them and shrug them off, stick YOUR nose in the air and act like your to good to even notice they even exist. Maybe then they'll stop cause they see there not getting to you anymore.If this helps or not let me know.

Well tell them to get lost, ignore them, i mean the LIKE to tease you because you diffrent(when i say diffrent i'm not saying that your diffrent diffrent, but like in style and stuff). I mean once you forget about them and dont talk to them they will feel like they have been disted. and at the time they say something mean to them THINK FAST and tell them off it will sure to get them to shut up and embarrsed. and if your the type of girl who CANT DROP IT, then get all your friends and get back at all them!!
