You can fess up to your parents. After that you can tell them you are really sorry that you did not study seriously enough and promise to do better next time. then you need to follow through and really study harder next time.
If you studied as hard as you could and still got a bad grade, you can ask a friend in the class to help you study and grasp the concepts.
Your parents may be dissapointed, but probably will not be as pissed as you think. After all it is only one bad grade, unless you have a history of poor grades and have made promises before.. this time you will need to keep the promise to do better.

Are your parents going to be upset because they had already warned you that you were doing things that would lead to a drop in your grades?
Or, did you get a poor grade because he are having a problem understanding the course?
In either case, you're probably not going to get away with hiding the grade from your parents. Your decision will be based on how long you want to try to hide it from them and how much worse you are prepared to let the situation get.
1. Go to your Science teacher and ask for her/his help to come up with a plan to improve your grade.
2. Start working on that plan! (And I mean working.)
3. Decide how you want to tell your parents and do it. Let them know that you have started your plan to improve.
4. Move on. We all make mistakes. It's what we learn from our mistakes that makes us successful or not. Your emphasis now has to be on what you are going to do from here on.
Good luck!
P.S. If your Science teacher can't help you or you don't feel comfortable approaching her/him - try your home form teacher or another teaching staff member.

No one gives you a grade, you earn it. Face your parents with the truth and put more effort into your studies in the future. It's too late to worry about this particular report card, and yes I'm sure your parents will be angry because they expect you to be a successful student. You have the ability to improve but it will take a lot of very hard work.

I think u should go up to your parents and let them know that you got a bad grade. Also, let them know that you tried but that you are having a difficult time in that subject and that's why you got the bad grade. Yeah, they might get pissed..but they'll be more pissed if they find out on their own.
I was surprised how my parents reacted when I went up to them and told them that I was having a hard time in school..I let them know that I wasn't just messing around and that I tried my best but math wasn't my best subject. They were actually supportive. Plus, communicating with them about by going up to them is a mature thing and maybe they'll surprise you by being supportive.

You can study harder, maybe get a tutor. If you tell your parents, you might want to suggest a tutor. It's ok. Everyone, no matter how good, struggles sometime or another. My subject that I struggle on is math. :( Next time, however, studdy harder to get a higher grade and you'll feel much better, as will your parents.

Own up to it, take the consequences, learn from the experience and try harder.
You could also discuss the possibility of doing extra credit work to improve or offset it with your teacher.
Good Luck

Of course they are and they should be.
What were you doing? Why were you goofing off and not getting a good grade. It is all your fault. Accept the responsibilty of being a slacker and get off of the computer and study.

ask your teacher if there is anything you can do to bring your grade up --extra credit or additional projects or writing a report. . .
