ancient egypt had in its beginning a dynasty of black -nubian- pharaons. this doesnt mean that all the egyptians were like them. ancient egyptian society was more a melting pot with nubians, jews, other semites and camites. no relation with arabs, maybe more with present day berbers (now in tunisia, algeria and morocco).
after alexander the great, there were also many greeks, and in roman times people from all over the empire.
after the arab invasion egypt was islamized and many arabs immigrated. today we have the result of all this migrations, nobody has gone extinct, they just mixed up together.
the problem in your question is that the division of human beings into races such as "caucasic", "black" etc... is wrong and too generalized

Well it doesn't make sense to for Egyptian to influence Sudanese first, which are black and not Arabs of arabian. And the Nile river source starts from East Afrika and not in Middle East. Does that make sense to you.The ancient Egyptians were black, full story. The bible prove it, Asiatic Race theory and bunch of other old theories did too, many scholars who research or visited the Egypt in the early age came with the same conclusion, expect for the once who preferred caucasian race hypothesis which posses superiority and denials. The Egyptians called and referred to themselves as "Black" people, the kemet people. The sphinx face was noted to be typically *****.By the way i am Somali and i took my DNA test, the results were similar to the ancient Egyptians, which you can find it among other sub-sharan Africans too.And my culture is typical of the one of ancient Egyptians, even our traditional costume. Most East African traditional costume are typical of the ancient Egyptians than the one with modern Egyptians, which looks depicted with combination of other cultures. The modern Egyptians are numb race with so much in it, they are not the pure ancient Egyptians, they have all kind of other race. Therefore Egyptians are blacks, either you wanted or you don't, its a fact , a true fact. Because Sphinx was founded to have a distinctive African, Nubian, or ******* then Khafre too. I know other race late on mix with them but we can elute that they were blacks. That is the true facts, i'm defending them because i know some people have started to say the same thing to East Africans that we are Arabs, caucasian and some bluh bluh stories, the so-called Western/Arabs superiority scholars.

No one went extinct. Even Cleopatra, who was actually Roman, claimed to hold the throne as an Egyptian. Her father claimed to be pharoah. Until most of the country was converted to Christianity, and later Islam, the Egyptian concept of an afterlife continued. The people were the same as they are now--only their form of government and religion changed. And they were not "white," in the sense that Europeans are, but Arabic, just like modern Egyptians.

Mostly because they did not existed, in the first place, stupid. The people living in Egypt now, are the descendants of the Egyptians who built Ancient Egypt.

That is inaccurate, I'm afraid. The original color of all human beings were black. you'll notice the further you get from Africa the lighter peoples skin get. This has to do with vitamin D absorbtion...and nothing else. If there were caucasians working on the pyramids then they were immegrants from a country further north...Not uncommon as trade routes often brought people to live in other countries.

As with other largely Moslem countries, in Egypt the Christian population, the Copts, are the best representatives of the ancient people, because the rule is that non-moslem men can't marry moslem women without converting. The best known Copt of recent years is Boutros Ghali former secretary general of the U.N. Take a look at a picture of him and decide for yourselves if he is black or not.

There were no "Caucasian Egyptians". It is a Euro-centric fraud perpetuated by people with a hidden agenda to prove racial superiority.
