i have no idea what to ask i guess ill ask would it be possible to ignore someone on IM but let my other friends beside that person see that im on???

If you use yahoo messenger, there is a "stealth mode, where you clik on a persons name, and you can appear offline for the moment, or even offline permanently.....but you can still send them an IM if you want. I do this to my ex wife all the time, and it drives her nuts getting IM's from me when her icon tells her im offline...LOL
